Most of the imagery that has been prominent so far in 21st century can be found on social media platforms such as Instagram and Twitter, as well as on illustrator, artist and designer's websites. Social media a wonderful way to spread messages, gain audience and make people think about society as a whole.
The general style of the so-called fourth wave of feminism is very illustrative and more on the fun side than what has been seen before. There has been a lot of progress since the end of the 19th century, the majority of women have found their voice and the movement has spread to those it hasn’t in the past. The colours used in the movement are typical ‘feminine’ colours such as pink, red and yellow. This is a statement against anti-feminists, that women can like pink and be concerned with their appearances. It is reclaiming the colours that have been used against women in marketing and advertising.
